About Us
Who We Are
USTS Field Hockey is devoted to creating an honest, safe, friendly and supportive environment for young people from the age of 5, to learn and develop their team and individual hockey skills.
We are based in Coppet in the Terre Sainte area of the canton of Vaud and along with a number of other sports are part of the USTS football club. We have the use of a water based astro turf pitch and also the Buvette which is great for all our social events!
We are a vibrant family club offering a mix of professional coaching and social training for both juniors and adults.
USTS Hockey Club strives to create an environment where opportunities for excellence exist, healthy competitiveness encouraged, friendships are forged and a sense of fun and enthusiasm for the game of hockey is fostered.
Our History
USTS Field Hockey club was founded in 2012 by Nicky de Menzies and Kamel Boulahia. They worked with the Terre Sainte authorities to establish a field hockey section of USTS (Union Sportive Terre Sainte) and a new club was born!

Our Structure
COMMITTEE MEMBERS
Our volunteer committee members undertake a number of different roles that help the club to run smoothly on a weekly basis. We are always looking for more people to help out – especially when we have home tournaments and we need all hands on deck to make sure it all runs well. Don’t worry if hockey isn’t your sport – helping out behind the bar or on the cake stand is also super important.
REGIONAL / NationAl links
USTS, like all other hockey clubs in the country, is a member of the umbrella body of Swiss Hockey. Also, each club in French-speaking Switzerland is part of the Forum Romand regional group. This comprises two clubs in Geneva and one in each of Lausanne. We meet these clubs regularly for tournaments and matches.
POLICIES
USTS is committed to ensuring that all coaches, managers, volunteers, parents and players adhere to strict codes of conduct both on and off the pitch. These are currently being finalised and will appear here shortly. We encourage all members to read these carefully.
Everyone involved in the club should promote equality of access and opportunity, fairness and respect at all times. All those people involved in the sport of hockey should act according to the highest standards of integrity and make sure the reputation of the sport remains high.

USTS Field Hockey se consacre à la création d'un environnement équitable, sain, amical et solidaire pour les jeunes de 5 ans et plus, afin d'apprendre et de développer leurs aptitudes individuelles et collectives de hockey.
Nous sommes basés à Coppet dans la région de Terre Sainte dans le canton de Vaud et faisons partie, avec d'autres sports, du club de football USTS. Nous disposons d'un terrain en gazon synthétique à surface synthétique à base d'eau ainsi que de la Buvette qui est idéale pour tous nos événements sociaux!
Nous sommes un club familial dynamique offrant un mélange d'entraînement professionnel et de formation continue pour les juniors et les adultes.
Le Club de hockey USTS s'efforce de créer un environnement où les occasions d'excellence existent, où une saine compétitivité est encouragée, où les amitiés se forgent et où un sentiment de plaisir et d'enthousiasme pour le hockey est encouragé.
Notre histoire
Le club de hockey sur gazon USTS a été fondé en 2012 par Nicky de Menzies et Kamel Boulahia. Ils ont travaillé avec les autorités de Terre Sainte pour établir une section de hockey sur gazon de l'USTS (Union Sportive Terre Sainte) et un nouveau club est né !

Notre structure
MEMBRES DU COMITÉ
Les membres bénévoles de notre comité assument un certain nombre de rôles différents qui aident le club à bien fonctionner sur une base hebdomadaire. Nous sommes toujours à la recherche de nouvelles personnes pour nous aider - surtout lorsque nous avons des tournois à domicile et que nous avons besoin de tout le monde sur le pont pour nous assurer que tout fonctionne bien. Ne vous inquiétez pas si le hockey n'est pas votre sport - aider derrière le bar ou sur le stand de pâtisserie est aussi très important.
LIENS RÉGIONAUX / NATIONAUX
L'USTS, comme tous les autres clubs de hockey du pays, est membre de la Fédération Suisse de Hockey. De plus, chaque club de Suisse romande fait partie du groupe régional Romand. Il comprend deux clubs à Genève. Nous rencontrons régulièrement ces clubs pour des tournois et des matchs.
POLITIQUES
L'USTS s'engage à s'assurer que tous les entraîneurs, gérants, bénévoles, parents et joueurs adhèrent à des codes de conduite stricts tant sur le terrain qu'en dehors. Celles-ci sont en cours de finalisation et apparaîtront ici prochainement. Nous encourageons tous les membres à les lire attentivement.
Toute personne impliquée dans le club doit promouvoir l'égalité d'accès et de chances, l'équité et le respect en tout temps. Toutes les personnes impliquées dans le sport du hockey devraient agir selon les normes d'intégrité les plus élevées et s'assurer que la réputation du sport demeure irréprochable.
